FAQ’s
This is where I will put the frequently asked questions that people have about me or my work.

Question #1
Asked by @writermommy on Twitter. “Had no idea of your publishing credits. {fawning pathetically} How’d you get started?”

Answer
People often want to know how I went from having a self-published book to having a published book. These are the steps I took:

  • Sibling surprised me with a self-published book from articles I had written for a homeschool newsletter.
  • Got myself a speaking gig at a homeschool conference
  • Spent a lot of time in the chat room at crosswalk.com
  • Talked about book publishing with an anonymous author who gave me the phone number of a publisher
  • Called the publisher – sent him my self-published book and another book I was working on
  • Eight days later the publisher called me back and said, “We HAVE to publish your book.”
  • And that…is how it’s done.

And I found that Twitter was one of the best places for people who have a quest for knowledge. ---MORE---
