I Need a Maid!

BidMyCleaning.com is giving away a maid for a year, and I want to win! Let me tell you why I need a maid for a year – Hey maybe she’ll like us so much she’ll want to stay on indefinitely?

7 Children = 21 pair of shoes by the front door – in various states of organized chaos.
5 Children still being homeschooled = books, books, and more books – all over the house.
2 teenaged boys – I don’t even want to begin to tell you what that smells like.
3 teenaged girls – hair stuff, makeup, hair spray, clothes, posters, movies, stuff, stuff, and more stuff.
11 year old boy – too big for toys, but he still has them, all over his room.
1 single mom who works from home 12 hours a day. By day, my bed is a desk, by night, a place to rest my weary head. My phone rings a lot! In one hour I counted 17 phone calls. Being a Realtor, even though I work from home well into the night, during the day I’m often spending hours showing houses, or going on listing appointments. I brought another chair into my room so I would have a place to sit. The other chair gets loaded with jackets that I sift through each day to find the least wrinkled one, since I haven’t had time to do laundry. Oh yes, and in my spare time I am starting up a new business for moms.
I can’t even remember the last time the baseboards were cleaned, under the refrigerator was vacuumed, or the ceiling fans were dusted.
I love my life – but I would love it even more with a maid!
